The powerhouse combo for this deck rests in these two cards. The problem is, they are expensive to play and can take several rounds to build up.
This deck's name is an indicator of what kind of deck it is...anyone who has seen Monty Python's The Life of Brian will understand. If you still need a hint, take a look at the cards in the deck. Notice anything? Always look on the bright side of LIFE! Ok, Ok, bad pun, but a fun deck to play.
The deck has largely stayed the same since I created it. I've changed out a few cards here and there though. I originally was going to make this deck a dual color, white and blue, but in the end decided that a single-color strategy would be best.
This deck does have problems with mana sometimes. A lot of the combos require high-cost cards to pull off, but there are a number of lower cost cards that can make opponents shudder. Soul Wardens and Mother of Runes are two good examples of this. Together, you can use them to stop just about any ground-based attacks while building life and mana. The Balista Squads are to help with fliers, though if the deck works well enough, your life total will climb even if you have to take damage from a few fliers each round.

Both these cards are probably way broken for what they do. Both are perfect for this deck though!
The power combo for this deck revolves around the Phyrexian Processor/Angelic Chorus combo. Once in full swing your life total will skyrocket while pumping out huge critters again and again. The strategy I most often use is to either 1) pay only half my life when playing the Processor, or 2) wait until I have enough mana to pay most of my life and use the Processor right away to regain it. The #2 option is dangerous if playing against a deck with counterspells. You can quickly find yourself almost dead if the Phyrexian Processor gets countered while playing it. I've used that technique successfully though. The fun starts when you can safely pay 40+ life to play the Phyrexian Processor and pump out critters that are over 40/40 each time you activate it.
Serra Avatar, Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant, and Atalya, Samite Master area all fairly self-explaitory. Fountain Watch also has good use protecting your main combo as well as keeping your other enchantments and artifacts safe from harm
Oh yeah, Beacon of Immortality is just a sick, sick card...

I love these two cards! Both the art and the game mechanics for each are totally awesome!
I may yet take the feldon's canes out in favor of Junk Trollers or Soldevi Diggers. With the four shuffling-type cards in the deck it may be more efficient to keep graveyard cards in play than the Feldon's Canes are. I have yet to decide.
DECK STRATEGY TIPS: This deck is pretty straighforward. Use the Enlightened Tutors to grab the artifacts and enchantments you need. Wrath of god is in there in case your opponent gets out of hand and you need a reset. Try and get the Angelic Chorus in play as soon as you can. Use the Mother of Runes to help block attacking critters, and gain as much life as you can.
I haven't kept up on Magic the last few sets. I bought a bit of Timespiral block, but that is about it. This deck is fairly unchanging, though I wouldn't mind reworking it a bit at some point. If anyone has suggestions of good cards I might want to include in this deck from any of the sets after the Time Spiral block please feel free to email me with ideas.
