Trading Rules Page
I'm using my website to track my haves and wants while trading on a couple of different online forums. I am mainly looking for the Dungeons & Dragons Minis I need and would prefer these in trade over anything on my lists, but there are a few other items I will trade for. Curently I am only trading on the WoTC and Maxminis trade forums but eventually I'll be trading on others. The following trade rules apply on any of the forums though:
General Trading Rules:
- If I have less refs than you on whichever forum we trade on I have no problem sending first. However, if you have negatives or if you have less refs than I do I reserve the right to ask that you send first. If both of us have over 20 positive refs with no negatives we can discuss simul-send.
- I live in Alaska and use a P.O. Box. Sometimes mail can take longer to arrive than it does elsewhere. If you trade with me, keep this in mind. Rarely it happens, but sometimes packages can take up to a week longer than normal.
- I use Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the U.S. and Priority Air Mail for other countries. Since international trades can not be tracked I won't often do huge deals on our first few transactions until we are both comfortable with each other as traders. I may choose First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation (or you can request it) depending on the package. A typical small box of DDM minis (4-10 med-large sized minis) costs me about $5 using Priority Mail with a DC#.
- Please package your items well. I use a sturdy box, card sleeves, popcorn packing or bubble wrap - whatever makes the package more secure for me to send it safely. I would like for you to do the same if we trade.
- My refs are listed on the appropriate sites: WoTC Solid Traders List, Maxminis My Trades. I use the same username on both boards - Nyarlathotep333.
DDM Rule:
- DDM Minis on my haves list will always be in bagged, in good shape, and come with their original cards unless noted otherwise. Minis do not come with promotional (Epic) cards unless noted otherwise as well.
Unassembled/Unpainted Minis Rule:
- When trading for unpainted/unassembled minis of any kind (Reaper, Warmachine, Warhammer, etc...) I would much prefer to trade for them unopened in their original packaging. I will trade for opened/loose minis however as long as they are in good shape, with all their pieces.
- When trading for partial minis or 'bits' I generally tend to value them relatively cheaply. This may change if the piece in question is one that I need - which I may value at a higher cost. When buying weapons/armor/equipment 'packs' I will value the whole pack at what it's secondary market price is, or at current store prices. Partial weapons/armor/equipment packs, and loose weapons/armor/equipment will be valued relatively cheaply as well unless it is a piece I need.
Collectible Cards Rule:
- When trading for Collectible Cards of any kind I would much prefer to trade for them in Mint or Near Mint condition. For cards I need for a set I will only accept them in Mint/NM condition. Cards I use for playing with and cards that I will always trade for can have some wear, although I will NOT trade for cards that have extensive wear, tears, bends, or noticeable scratches in them. In other words, nothing below Excellent condition according to Scrye magazine grading. If you can easily see the wear from arms length chances are I won't want to trade for it. NOTE: NO FOREIGN VERSIONS, GOLD BORDERED VERSIONS, or COLLECTOR'S EDITION CARDS ACCEPTED IN TRADE. If it isn't an English version with a normal MtG card back I'm generally not interested unless it is an unusual misprint/miscut card.
Have/Want List Notes:
- Rares are listed in RED, Uncommons are GREEN, Commons are BLUE and Misc. Items are PURPLE.
- P = Pending, S = Sent, R = Received, PP = Possible Pending
- I will try and note items with noticeable wear when I can.
- Items on my wants list marked with *** are priority. Items on my haves list marked with *** I would prefer to trade in a deal with at least one of my priority haves or one of my 'always trade for' list (right sidebar).
